About Me

I am Carrie Cook, founder of North County Financial Operations. A Midwest girl born and raised, I've spent the past few years working in the Vista area and am excited to finally be planting my roots here. I look forward to serving local clients while continuing to support businesses across the country, building strong, lasting relationships founded on trust, integrity, and genuine connection.

My Journey

For the first 30 years of my career, I dedicated my life to the medical field, helping healthcare organizations improve patient care, train staff, and build stronger teams. In 2005, I founded Surgical Training Solutions, where I provided medical training and consulting services while gaining firsthand experience as a business owner.

In 2018, after earning my Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from Bethel University, I stepped into what has become my second calling: helping entrepreneurs create businesses that are not only profitable, but sustainable and built to last. That same year, I founded Revive CFO, and in 2024 I launched Raine Wealth to continue expanding that mission.

Today, I serve as a Fractional CFO, Profit Strategist, and national speaker, helping business owners—especially women—feel confident in the language of money.

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA), Finance – Bethel University, Arden Hills, Minnesota (2018)

  • Leadership Certificate – Bethel University

  • Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, Cum Laude – Concordia University, Minnesota (2015)

Over the years, I've learned that financial challenges are rarely just about the numbers.

Many business owners—especially women—carry silent stress, uncertainty, or even shame around money. Those feelings can affect every part of a business and often keep people from making confident financial decisions.

That's why I create a safe, judgment-free space where we can have honest conversations about finances. I take the time to get to know you as a person, understand your goals, and explain financial terminology in a way that actually makes sense. My role isn't just to organize your books—it's to help you understand them.

I believe that when you understand your money, you can lead your business with greater confidence, intention, and peace of mind.

I'm happily married to my husband, Dan, and we've been married for nine years. Together, we've built a wonderful life surrounded by family, including my daughter, my son, and two grandchildren who bring me endless joy.

Outside of work, I enjoy building and supporting women's networking communities throughout the Twin Cities. I also spend time in California and Las Vegas serving national clients and maintaining business relationships across the country.

Public speaking is another passion of mine, and I love sharing practical financial strategies that empower business owners to grow with confidence. At home, you'll usually find me spending time with our beloved 14-year-old dog, who has been a cherished member of our family for many years.

What's in It for Me

I get to help empower small business owners with their money and build their business, so they can grow and get stronger.

How I Do It

Level 1: Bookkeeper | Keeping Your Financial Records Accurate Your bookkeeper creates the financial history

of your business by accurately recording day-to-day transactions.

Level 2: Accountant | Ensuring Financial Accuracy and Compliance Your accountant ensures your financial records are complete, accurate, and compliant with tax regulations and accounting standards.

Level 3: Controller | Building Financial Systems That Support Growth

As businesses become more complex, they require stronger financial processes and greater operational oversight.

A Controller develops the systems that transform accounting data into useful management information. The Primary Question "Are we operating efficiently?"

Controllers help owners gain confidence in their financial information while creating accountability throughout the organization.

Level 4: Fractional CFO | Strategic Financial Leadership

A Fractional CFO doesn't simply report the numbers—they help you make better business decisions using those

numbers.

Your CFO becomes a strategic partner focused on improving

profitability, protecting cash flow, and increasing the long-

term value of your business.

The Primary Question "Where should the business go next?"

The CFO helps transform financial information into

confident decisions.
